Our History

2016

2016
Leadenhall Search and Selection was founded by two former management consultants. The company moved into its first office on Lime Street.

2017

2017
We launched two new divisions: Data & Technology and Consulting. The team expanded to five, reflecting early momentum and growing client demand.

2018

2018
Leadenhall entered the US market, establishing a transatlantic presence. The team also celebrated its first annual company ski trip.

2019

2019
With the team growing to eight, we outgrew our Lime Street office and moved to a larger space on Gresham Street to accommodate our expanding operations

2020

2020
Despite the challenges of the global pandemic, Leadenhall welcomed three new consultants and launched a new Strategy Consulting division.

2021

2021
We relocated to a new office near The Shard and grew to a 17-person team. 2021 marked a record-breaking year, celebrated with company trips to Portugal and Moscar.

2022

2022
The business grew to 25 people and continued to break performance records. Eight graduates joined in September, and the entire team enjoyed a summer trip to Barcelona.

2023

2023
Leadenhall expanded its geographical focus into Asia, saw continued headcount growth plus an incentive trip to Val Thorens and a whole company trip to Mykonos. We also hosted our first charity quiz night, raising £3,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support and strengthening our commitment to CSR.

2024

2024
Leadenhall launched its Legal desk and celebrated six well-deserved promotions throughout the year. We expanded our international footprint to include Singapore, Australia, Japan, Kuala Lumpur, and Riyadh. In the US, we supported mandates across 27 states, with two-thirds of all roles now US-based.

2025

2025
Now a 30-person firm, Leadenhall continues to grow. We introduced Directors’ Lunch Clubs as incentives for top performers, and the team visited LinkedIn HQ and attended a content creation workshop. 16 promotions were achieved across the flock in 2025.

We kicked off 2026 with an unforgettable company-wide ski trip to Val Thorens!<br />
