Office Build-Out Enabling Rapid Market Entry
We helped launch a new office build-out for one of our US clients. The company had no prior presence in the location and aimed to recruit experienced Big 4–calibre advisory professionals while simultaneously establishing credibility with new clients.
The office build-out became a key accelerator for growth as we supported our client with meetings, interviews, and allowed them to focus on day-to-day advisory work from day one. Within eight months, the firm scaled from zero to 20 employees, successfully attracting talent and building client confidence in a new market. Our approach helped transform a greenfield launch into a fully operational advisory presence, reinforcing trust, stability, and momentum for future expansion.

Alternative Investment Advisory Firm Managing Directors Appointment
This mandate was to support a leading global alternative investment advisory firm with the build-out of its investment research and operations platform. Over a two-year partnership, we delivered multiple senior leadership and junior–mid level hires across real assets, discretionary operations, portfolio implementation, operational due diligence, and fund operations. The search focused on targeted market mapping and headhunting within a highly competitive alternatives talent pool, alongside advisory on compensation benchmarking and access to adjacent candidate pools.
As a result, we successfully appointed two Managing Directors: Head of Real Assets (Investment Research) and Head of Discretionary Operations, alongside senior research and operational hires that strengthened leadership depth and built scalable investment and operational capabilities to support continued growth. We continue to be a key partner and preferred agency of the client.

Scaling three PE-backed professional services businesses
For a Bridgepoint portfolio company, we have partnered for over 15 years, supporting sustained growth on both sides of the Atlantic, including 60 senior placements across North America and a further 40 hires in the UK between 2021 and 2023 alone.
For a second client backed by CVC and Carlyle, we act as their global exclusive search partner, delivering 100+ hires over the past four years across the US, UK, Europe and Singapore, spanning Advisory, TAS, Data and Transformation functions, including 12 Managing Director and Partner appointments – several of which were Office Managing Partner roles.
We have also supported a third client through multiple ownership phases, completing 11 junior-to-mid level hires during their HIG-backed period and subsequently leading Managing Director searches following their transition to Kohlberg.

Rapid Senior Hiring
A growing 25 person CFO, TAS and Accounting firm across three locations in the US were looking to make two senior hires, one at Director and one at Senior Vice President level.
These were essential hires, one to build out and lead their TAS practice and the other was to be the first hire into their new office location, excluding the head of the practice who was based there but across all other locations, The client required these candidates to be solely from a reputable Public Accounting firm (Big4, Top7), demonstrates the characteristics to lead and build out a team while executing and delivering a high standard of work to the client.
We were able to execute the search and complete both hires within a month
of them starting the interview process.

Multi Level Hiring
An ambitious 20 person CDD and Growth Strategy firm based in London. The firm was looking to partner with a trusted organisation that could build out their middle management bench while ensuring all candidates hired, aligned closely with their unique and close-knit culture, a key character to the firm’s success in the London market.
Leadenhall begun the search by gathering in-depth details from the Partners and employees at the middle management level on what a true plug and play employee of the firm would look like.
We were able to represent a strong pool of candidates of which four were offered. Through our offer closing process, Leadenhall assisted with all four candidates accepting a position from Associate through to Manager level and maintain a 100% offer/acceptance rate with the client.
Since then, we have seen repeat business and our relationship has gone from strength to strength with the firm now employing over 30 individuals.
