As Executive Director of Data & Finance Recruitment, I specialise in placing high-calibre talent across Associate to C-Suite level roles, with typical salaries ranging from $100,000 to $2,000,000. With over 10 years’ recruitment experience, I work globally—across the US, Europe, and APAC—partnering with both consulting firms and industry-leading organisations.

My expertise and passion lies in helping collaborate with clients to scale their teams quickly and enter new markets through office build-outs and strategic hiring. I particularly enjoy building long-term partnerships, aligning hiring strategy with business goals. Working in the dynamic Data and Finance space allows me to stay close to cutting-edge technologies and top-tier professionals. Many of the candidates I work with are looking to transition away from large  enterprises to high-growth, boutique firms, seeking greater impact, autonomy, or innovation. Supporting those moves is a rewarding aspect of the role!

Career History

After earning a Master’s in History and Politics from the University of Glasgow, I spent two years traveling through Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. During my time abroad, I took on a range of roles—from banana farmhand to bricklayer, bartender, and even a stint in banking. When I returned to the UK, I considered my career options and found recruitment to be an ideal fit. It was an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment that combined relationship-building, and high earning potential. In 2015, I began my career in recruitment at a large Edinburgh-based firm—and I haven’t looked back since.

Outside of Work

I’m a proud father of two young boys, and most of my time outside work is spent with my wife and family. I also play weekly five-a-side and captain a local 11s football team alongside being a fan of Manchester United and England. In the summer, I enjoy golfing and exploring new and exotic holiday destinations whenever I get the chance.
